भूल जाते हैं कि शेर खामोशी में भी खौफ रखता है
जो शरारत भी है और इश्क़ भी — दोनों का मेल कमाल है।
तो किसी दूसरे की क्या औकात जो तुम्हे हरा दे…!
हमारी बदमाशी में शराफत और ताक़त दोनों है।
पर लोगों के लिए हम आज भी रंगबाज़ हैं — बेटा जितना तू सोचता है हम उससे ज्यादा खराब हैं
तेरी आँखों में जो बात है, वो ज़ुबां पर नहीं आती,
हम वहाँ खड़े होते हैं जहाँ लाइन खत्म होती है,
ਤੇ ਤੇਰੀ ਔਕਾਤ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਤਾਂ ਮੇਰੀ ਸਿਗਰਟ here ਦੇ ਖਰਚੇ ਨੇ !!
